In her second collection for Kate Spade New York, launching in May, creative director Nicola Glass focuses on optimistic femininity. The summer campaign once again features actresses Julia Garner (Netflix’s “Ozark” and Bravo’s “Dirty John”) Sadie Sink (Netflix’s “Stranger Things” and “Eli”) and KiKi Layne (“If Beale Street Could Talk” and “Native Son.”). The campaign, styled by Sara Moonves, was photographed by Tim Walker, who previously worked with the brand from 1999 to 2006 under Kate and Andy Spade. He will shoot the brand’s campaigns throughout 2019. “I love the idea of women getting together and creating everyday informal celebrations, no matter where they are,” said Glass. “To me, the nature of improvising these moments is very free-spirited and optimistic. As a brand, we encourage women to be the heroines of their own stories. We are a celebration of women across time zones, generations and style creeds who are living their best individual lives and believe that, together, everything is possible.” The ads, which will start appearing digitally in May, were shot on location at the Floating Farmhouse in Eldred, N.Y. — Lisa Lockwood
